How would you describe your shop’s vibe?
Oriental and western influenced decor. Giving off an old Shanghainese vibe but refreshed with contemporary music and haircuts. Shanghainese barbers have been serving men in Hong Kong long before we were even born. As most of these barbers are now retired, Too Far East pays tribute to them and the era they were part of.

What’s the best tip for someone visiting the area?
Visiting central - Happy hour in Lan Kwai Fong after getting a fresh haircut. If you are visiting Hong Kong, roam everywhere and go to local places like Jordan or Sham shui po to get a real Hong Kong experience.
What’s the best advice for clients before walking in?
Have a picture ready and be open to new ideas. The barber who will serve you might have a different approach in giving you what you want; and that could be what you actually need.
